Scarpa Women’s Instinct VS – Climbing Shoes

A climbing shoe specifically designed for women’s needs: the Women’s Instinct VS from Scarpa. Because this shoe was designed to accommodate women’s feet, it is indeed slightly different than the men’s model but is no way inferior when it comes to technical features. The women’s version features a Vibram XS Grip 2 rubber sole, which is stickier than the Vibram XS Grip but is more prone to wear and less abrasion-resistant. The shape of the heel and the toe box have been adapted to the female anatomy for a solid fit.
The Instinct VS’s moderate heel tension and slight downturn combined with the bi-tension system produce excellent power transfer. The asymmetrical last and precision toe box allow for accurate placements and give you the sensitivity you need on the smallest of structures. Toe and heel hooks are super easy thanks to the completely rubberised heel and rubber toe patch. The slipper design makes the shoe incredibly easy to put on, and you can make precise adjustments using the hook-and-loop fastener.
