Get ready for the New Zero Pro from So iLL! The climbing pros from Southern Illinois have revised their New Zero shoes in detail to made them even better! The New Zero Pro does not need a midsole at all and the outsole has been split in two. The result is sensitive, while at the same time, highly aggressive climbing shoes with a lot of downturn and plenty of pre-tensioning.
The Dark Matter sole is known to be one of the stickiest soles on the market, making these shoes a bouldering monster for difficult crags with small footholds. For those who know a little more about climbing technique, the term smearing might mean something to you. One thing’s for sure – the New Zero Pro are ideal for this type of climbing due to its super soft sole.
But that’s not all, as the improved rubber cover over the toe box (Toe-Hook-Patch) and a redesigned heel ensure a perfect hold while hooking. It’s time to get excited about your next climb!
Note on sizing: The New Zero Pro is a unisex model. The recommendation given by the manufacturer is based on the level of difficulty you are climbing.
- Men who climb at a maximum of eighth grade (UIAA) should choose shoes one and a half sizes larger than their street shoes.
- Women who climb at a maximum of eighth grade (UIAA) choose shoes in their street shoe size.
- Men who climb in the upper eighth grade (UIAA) and higher should choose shoes half a size smaller than their street shoes.
- Women who climb in the upper eighth grade (UIAA) and higher should choose shoes one size smaller than their street shoes.
