In addition, whilst traversing glaciers, the rope will have constant contact to snow and ice, so the rope has been equipped with a powerful finish to prevent it from getting soaked with water. However, not only does the finish ensure water-repellent properties but it also keeps the dirt away from inside the rope for increased durability. Lastly, the Alpine Dry Rope’s design is based on the well-known 8.0 Phoenix Dry but is in no way inferior in terms of quality!
